Partnering with Backed, Kraken will leverage the solana network to tokenize high-profile assets like Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia, marking a significant leap in accessibility and innovation for global investors.

Kraken to Launch 24/7 Trading for Tokenized US Stocks via Solana

Kraken is set to introduce a groundbreaking product enabling users outside the US to trade tokenized versions of major American stocks and ETFs around the clock. The offering, dubbed xStocks, will feature high-profile names like Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia, with plans for further expansion.

Built in partnership with Backed, xStocks will tokenize US-listed assets as SPL tokens on the Solana network. Unlike traditional equity markets, these tokenized assets will be tradable 24/7 on Kraken’s platform and compatible Solana wallets, while also enabling onchain utility such as collateralization.

The move follows Kraken’s acquisition of NinjaTrader in February and its recent expansion into stock trading, signaling the exchange’s aggressive push into bridging traditional finance with crypto innovation.
